I took Joseph to the Kanoman Palace one afternoon. I went there with Joseph. We had a field assignment to study history, and we chose Kraton Kanoman. We entered the palace through the Kanoman market. First of all, we told the guard at the gate that we had a school assignment to study the history of Kraton Kanoman. We were told to ask the historians and administrators of the kanoman palace. We interviewed them, and he explained well about the history of the kanoman palace. After the interview, we went inside the Kanoman market, where we became aware of the Situated in the center of Cirebon, Indonesia, Kraton Kanoman’s Kanoman Palace is a testimony to Java’s rich cultural legacy and history. Constructed during the 17th century, this splendid palace functioned as the Sultan of Cirebon’s house, exhibiting the grace and magnificence typical of Javanese nobility. The elaborate architecture characteristic of Javanese castles greets us as soon as we approach the palace grounds. The wooden buildings are adorned with complex designs that portray scenes from ancient Javanese culture and stories about mythological creatures. On the walls of the palace there are beautiful plates typical of China. This provides evidence of good relations between the Chinese state and the Kanoman Palace in the past During its peak, the palace was divided into multiple sections, each with a distinct purpose. The Sultan held court and performed significant rituals in the Pendopo, a large hall with open sides and high ceilings. History is still sensed here, as if the walls themselves were telling stories of earlier times. As one walks around the palace, they come upon the royal homes, which are were the Sultan and his family formerly resided. The architectural mix of Javanese and Islamic forms is evident in these quarters, which embody the essence of Cirebon. The Kanoman Palace is still an important center for Javanese culture and the spreading of Islam on the Island of Java. it is more than just a historical remains. Sometimes We are able to take in the rich customs that have been maintained within its walls, watch traditional dance performances, and learn how to make batik. The best times to visit the Koman Palace are in the early morning or the late afternoon. Since we may appreciate the splendor of the afternoon sky in Cirebon while relaxing beneath a big tree and listening to birds tweeting at that time.
