The ASEAN Economic Forum - Award 2024 Announcement Ceremony, organized by the

2024 in Singapore.
The program presents an opportunity to introduce and promote prominent brands from Vietnam
and ASEAN countries in sectors that are currently of great interest, such as Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics,
High-tech Agriculture, Culture, Tourism and Services, Import-Export, Logistics, IT, Technology,
Finance, and Banking. As part of the program, there will be exhibitions and introductions of products
from businesses in Vietnam, Singapore, and other countries in the region. Specialized discussions with
leading experts and renowned corporations will also be organized to facilitate knowledge exchange and
collaboration.
The announcement and awarding ceremony of the "ASEAN Award 2024" will honor
outstanding ASEAN Businesses, renowned ASEAN Brands, and skilled Entrepreneurs/Managers. This
event aims to acknowledge and commend exemplary entrepreneurs, recognizing the significant
contributions of businesses and individuals in innovation, economic development, social welfare, and
sustainable growth within the region.

 SIGNIFICANCE, STRATEGIC COOPERATION VIETNAM - ASEAN

ASEAN has been a foremost trading

partner for Vietnam over the past several years.
Vietnamese enterprises engaged with ASEAN
have established robust and profound
connections, propelling the economic
evelopment of Vietnam speci cally and the ASEAN
region as a whole.

After 28 years of ASEAN membership, the

economic and trade relations between Vietnam
and ASEAN have undergone remar k able
advancements in both breadth and depth. The
focal point of the ASEAN Economic Community is
the initiative to develop a common ASEAN market
and production base, leveraging the collective
strength of the markets of the 10 ASEAN countries,
encompassing over 600 million consumers and a
total GDP approaching USD 3,000 billion annually.

Vietnam has also increased its imports from

the ASEAN, rising from USD 14.5 billion in 2010 to
USD 41.1 billion in 2021, marking an increase of
USD 26.6 billion.

According to the data from the General

Department of Customs, in 2022, Vietnam's export
value to ASEAN reached USD 33.86 billion, an
increase of 17.7% compared to 2021, while
imports reached USD 47.28 billion, a 14.9%
increase from 2021.

In the rst two months of 2023, the export

turnover to ASEAN amounted to USD 4.96 billion,
accounting for approximately 10% of the total
export turnover of the entire country.
