General Objective: Students will be able to gain in depth knowledge about importance of
Prosthetic and Orthotic appliances to improve client’s quality of life..

 discuss the indications for Prosthetic and Orthotic
 describe different assisting applications of Prosthetic and Orthotic
 explain pre and post comprehensive Prosthetic and Orthotic management
 list the steps of encountered problems related to Prosthetic and Orthotic
 enlist various National policies and acts related to empowerment of persons with
disabilities
 understand the process of Prosthetic and Orthotic
 explain benefits and complications of Prosthetic and Orthotic
 list the various innovative technologies evolved in Prosthetic and Orthotic
 explain the methods of maintaining and Supplying Prosthetic and Orthotic devices
at health care settings.
 explain, educate and motivate the clients to opt for Prosthetic and Orthotic
assistance to improve their quality of life.
