GENERAL SUMMARY:

On February 5, the six-year-old girl had come to her grandmother's home to

visit a mela (fair) organised on the occasion of Saraswati Puja. The same
evening, Mithu Rai said to be a relative (uncle) of the girl took her to the fair on
the pretext of getting chocolate and balloons. When they were returning, he
gang-raped the innocent with two of his friends. Three of them took turns to
rape the girl.
During this time, when the girl, who was groaning in pain, fainted, the heart of
the accused did not sweat and they strangled her to death and then pressed her

OPPRESSOR DESCRIPTION:
These Convicts are aged between 24 and 26 years who planned to rape and
murder a 6 year old girl. The convict was the uncle of the victim (6-year old
girl) who managed to escape with her by luring her for chocolates and balloons.

PSYCHOLOGICAL REFLECTION:

This type of incidence causes long life injury in the minds of the victim. In
above mentioned issue the victim belongs to her phallic stage where the child’s
interest is more oriented towards the opposite sex. Due to this, she was easily
convinced to go to the fair with her uncle (Mithu Rai).
Because the victim lies in Pre-conventional stage, there was ego-centric nature
where she assumed that her uncle would also enjoy toys and swings in the fair
and would buy her balloons. She was a normal child who was being guarded by
Permissive parents due to which the victim reflected certain behaviours-
dependent, immature, low self-control and ego-centric.

SOCIAL REFLECTION:

We as a society should start helping our young children before the criminal
stage. We need to stop saying “it is not my problem”. For when that young man
grows up and his issues spiral out of control so badly that it affects your
children, then we want to take it seriously. Crime does not occur in a vacuum. It
affects all of us.

HUMANE REFLECTION:

As a prospective teacher, I would consider the following mentioned steps so

that I can contribute my best to make India’s future more bright and more
shining:
1. Acknowledge the problem of child
2. Become a good listener
3. Aware them from child rights
4. Empathetic
5. Indulge in conversation with the parents
