Roles and responsibilities:

 Prepare detailed BOQs, BBS, and Quantity Sheets for specific construction items.
 Coordinate, schedule, and monitor engineering projects, updating construction schedules with actual
data and assessing progress.
 Attend coordination meetings, engaging with clients to understand their needs and represent them in
the field.
 Ensure overall quality control of project work, including budget, schedule, plans, and personnel
performance, reporting regularly on project status.
 Maintain safe and clean construction sites, organize materials, and prepare cost estimates.
 Provide technical advice, draw up work schedules, and communicate adjustments to crew members
and clients.
 Record significant events such as contractual claims, productivity, and materials status.
 Lead and monitor the performance of site engineers and support staff.
 Oversee safety procedures, ensuring compliance and issuing corrective instructions as needed.
 Provide engineering advice on construction matters, oversee document control activities, and liaise
with engineers in other sections.
 Ensure adherence to company HSE policies and procedures, implementing necessary measures for
employee and contractor safety at all project stages.

after the graduation/ post-
graduation?
After completion of my master’s program in Quantity Surveying. I would
like to see myself as a Quantity surveyor with all aspects of construction
projects from planning and budgeting to implementation and completion
in the construction Industry. From planning and budgeting to
implementation and completion in the construction Industry.

On the other hand, I am holding the post of “Managing Partner” in the

family-owned business in my home country i.e., “Chikmagalur Chemical
Works” & “Heritage Conventional Hall”.
