Coup d’état

 Coup d’état, also called coup, the sudden, violent overthrow of an


existing government by a small group.
 Among the earliest modern coups were those in
which Napoleon overthrew the Directory in 1799.

Karaoke
 The word "karaoke" actually comes from Japanese, and it's made up
of two parts: "kara," which means "empty," and "oke," which is short
for "orchestra." In other words, the karaoke meaning in Japanese is
"singing without music," and the word translates to "empty
orchestra."
 A Japanese entertaining group created this word after an orchestra
went on strike and a machine was used instead to play the music.

Paparazzi
 Paparazzi, freelance photographers who specialize in capturing
photos of celebrities for media outlets.
 The word 'paparazzi' originates from the film La Dolce Vita where the
author named one of the characters, who is a news photographer,
Paparazzo, which is derived from a word in Italian that describes an
annoying sound, the film was produced in the 1960s.

Pharaoh
 This word meant ‘great house’ and it was originally the word used to
describe the king’s palace. From the time of Akhenaton (14th century
BC) it was used to refer to the king.
