Instructions:

1. In this activity, you and your group mates will shop for your school supplies
for the new quarter.

2. Study the details for your shopping day in this table:

3. What are the items you will buy? How many per item? Write an expression
for them. All members should come up with a plan.
(Example: If the first member of this group wants to buy 5 ballpens, 1 pad paper, and 3 erasers,
then you will write: 5b + p + 3e. The rest of the members of the group will do the same. )

Substitute the price of items to the variables in your expressions. What is
the total amount your group will spend for all items you plan to buy?

Coronacion:

= 2b + p + n + w + r + e + c
= 2(17) + 25 + 28 + 125 + 23 + 5 + 900
= 34 + 25 + 28 + 125 + 23 + 5 + 900
= Php 1,140

5. The budget of your group for shopping is 4,000 Php. Is your budget enough?
If it is, compute the amount of change you are supposed to receive. If it is
not, then compute the extra amount you need.p

Based on my expenses, we could expect a change of Php 2,680.
