IV. Rationale
The set of activities are designed to facilitate the needs of the sitio in celebrating its
Annual Fiesta in Honor of Sr. San Jose with the theme, “St. Joseph: An example of living a life
with just.” and contributing to the sitio’s colorful weeks long celebration.
V. Objectives
The activities aimed at incorporating elements of competition and turning the people’s
attention away from negative influences such as vices, drugs, etc., and promote harmonious
relationship between Purok Red Coral and Purok Emerald. These three-day celebration and
festivities also strive to establish the collective identity and distinction of the residents of
Barangay Libertad. Furthermore, the group of youth will be exposed in the community to engage
in establishing camaraderie with other group of youth and adults. The youth’s skills in sports will
enhance, have a physically body fit, and establish camaraderie on sports.

The first night of fiesta activities on March 17, 2024, the Sitio Laray Fiesta
Executive Committee held a "Sintunado" Singing Contest with seven (7)
participants. The activity was sponsored by the Rosales Family.

On the second day of fiesta activities in honor of Señor San Jose last night
of March 18, 2024, the Purok Night and Awarding were conducted. The
night was entertained by the residents through a community Zumba. Also,
the awarding of winners in the concluded Basketball League Tournament
and Mobile Legend Tournament.

The Sitio Laray Annual Fiesta has been concluded with activities full of fun
and prizes on the night of March 19, 2024. The highlight for this event is the
Search for Macho Gay. Also, raffle draw was made.

As one of the social activities of the community in Sitio Laray and in the
celebration of the Sitio's Fiesta, the residents headed by Mr. Glen V.
Romagos initiated this basketball tournament. The championship was done
last night of Saturday, March 18, 2024. The Team Hitsuraan and Team Pogi
wore dusters and adult diapers to make this game brings fun and
enjoyment to the audience and to the players as well. The Team Pogi won
the championship battle.

competition looked for individuals singing in an out of tune.
