ACTIVITY DESIGN FOR THE


CELEBRATION OF LINGGO NG KABATAAN

I. Rationale
Section 30 of Republic Act No. 10742 of the Sangguniang Kabataan Act of 2015
mandates the observance of Linggo ng Kabataan in the Municipality of San Jose,
Negros Oriental.

In line with this, the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of San Jose, Negros Oriental
will conduct a half-day municipal wide youth activity which recognizes the vital role of
the youth in nation-building and promotes and protects their physical, moral, spiritual,
intellectual and social being.

II. Objectives
This activity aims to develop the character as well as leadership potential of the youth.
It aims to train each participant to respond productivity and positively to any situation

and to serve as role model for the youth.

This activity also allows all the youth leaders to get to know their co-youth leaders
from the other barangays of the municipality of San Jose, Negros Oriental.

III. Date and venue


The activity will be held on August 27, 2018 and will take place in Villanueva Park, San
Jose, Negros Oriental.

IV. Participants
A total of 200+ participants are expected to attend this said activity.
 Approximately 140 Sangguniang Kabataan Officials.
 Approximately 80+ SK contestants.

V. Obligations and Responsibilities of the Participating Parties


 Secretariat - To oversee the activity and prepare the requirements such as invitations,
program, certificate etc.
 Facilitator - Guide and attend the need to the teams that will be formed.

VI. Schedule of activities/course content 2


 Registration Starts at 1:00 PM at Villanueva Park.
 Problem Starts at 2:00 PM.
