Rationale:

In line with the celebration of the 2019 International youth day also known as linggo ng
kabataan.The Sangguniang Kabataan of barangay Guisguis will conduct a symposium and poster and
slogan competition about anti-illegal drug abuse campaign and Gender sensitivity awareness which they
can freely express themselves and showcase their ability. To develop and share among the youth of
Barangay Guisguis and other education ,information,leadership,skills.Encourage members to promote
the active participation by all youth in fun and to educate them in the said activity according to their
interests and abilities.

Objectives:

1.To Showcase the ability and knowledge in the said activity of Barangay Guisguis youths.

2.To promote unity within the Sangguniang kabataan of barangay Guisguis through the activities in the
barangay that needs the participation of all sk councils and kabataan who are willing to join.

3.To promote camaraderie between the young leaders of Barangay Guisguis and biding the relationship
between the leaders and the members of the Sangguniang Kabataan.

Events and Participants:

It program creating and building a strong foundation for youth. Participant shall compose 10groups(10
members per group) from the youths of barangay.
Budgetary Requirements

Covering the proposal activity, The following estimated funding is needed.

Time requirements: Minimum of 8 hours or 1 day

Trainor’s Fee (3 Police Officers and 1 SK Chairperson) - 6,000.00
1 Organizer and 3 Judges fee - 4,000.00
Gift for Participants (Tumblers) 80 * 50 - 4,000.00
Cash prizes for Poster and Slogan making contest:
1 st Place -3,000 * 2 = 6,000
2nd Place- 2,000 *2= 4,000
3 rd Place-1,000 *2 = 2,000
Consolation Prizes-200*7 = 1,400

TOTAL = 36,400.00
