“Being blind and deaf doesn't limit our freedom to be a student, daughter, sister and human. It doesn't limit our

freedom to pursue our dreams.”

The movie Black is an Indian movie that tackles miracles.I thought it is a boring movie since it

was released in 2005 and in the first few minutes of the movie i did not comprehend the movie , i got

confused why it happened. As i was watching the movie i got mixed emotions from confused to sadness

to anger to the point i cried for the whole 1 hour of the remaining movie. The movie shows how people

with disorders (PWD) learn things.

The whole duration of the movie talks about the life of Michelle a blind and deaf girl , the world is

so cruel to the little girl she could not see and hear how the world is beautiful. She was born in the

wealthy family and her mother wanted michelle to learn so she propose to his husband to hire a teacher

for Michelle but the father of Michelle wanted her to go to asylum because for him , michelle won’t change

. And I was angry at how Michelle's father treated them as if she was “crazy” . Her father couldn't

understand her situation but not until they hired Teacher Sahai changed Michelle to a fine lady. Michelle

calls Mr.Sahai as “tee” in short for teacher , her teacher teaches her a lot. Growing up Mr.Sahai is

Michelle's guidance, he is the only one who believes in MIchelle. She fails many times but because of

Mr.Sahai she rises up until they reach their dreams.

The movie is an eye opener that even a PWD has a dream. It talks about patience , freedom and

determination. I can relate to this because when i was i used to be a quieter since i don't think i am good

enough at achieving things but when i watch the movie , my whole perspective in life change. The movie

taught me that i should not limit my ability and i should explore more and never afraid to fail because what

comes to failure is success. In life there are a lot of choices it's either you choose to be a quitter or fight

until you reach you dream.
