Voice over: Ladies and gentlemen, please return now to your seats as we will begin the program in a
few moments.
HOST: Good afternoon to everyone. Today we witness a momentous event in the lives of our soon to be
Practitioner in the field of Psychology. This day marks another milestone not only for our students but
for their parents, guardians, relatives, and spouse as well. As we begin our program, please welcome
our psychology students together with their parents, guardians, relatives and our esteemed guests.

HOST: The entrance of colors led by the Criminal Justice students of Lyceum Subic Bay Incorporated.
HOST: Please stand for the singing of the National Anthem followed by the Olongapo Hymn.
HOST: You may now settle down. Once again, WELCOME TO THE 1ST PINNING AND COMMISSIONING
CEREMONY OF LYCEUM OF SUBIC BAY COLLEGE OF PSYCHOLOGY WITH THE THEME: Overcoming
Adversity: A Journey of Courage, Resilience, and Victory. At this moment, to give us his opening
remarks, may we call the Dean of Academic Affairs, Prof. Roel B. Dimalanta

HOST: Thank you very much Prof. Dimalanta for that message. (spiel about the message) And so we
move on to the next part of our program. To introduce our guest speaker, may I call Inst. Sunshine P.
Geraldino.
HOST: Thank you very much Dr. Anicas for that wonderful message. It is indeed (spiel about the
message) To award the certificate of appreciation may we call Prof. Roel Dimalanta, Prof. Randy
Baguling, Prof. Angelo Aga D. Silvestre and the president of Lyceum of Subic Bay Inc , Mr. Alfonso T.
Borda. (read the certificate)
Now we proceed to the highlight of this event, the pinning ceremony of Psychology Students. The
pinning ceremony symbolizes the students' readiness in terms of competence, maturity, and
character to embark on another phase of challenges in their academic journey as future Psychology
practitioners.
Students go back to their seats followed by a dance number. (No need to read this)
HOST: AS we now come to this moment of lighting the candles, may I call the four pillars of
Psychology in our institution, (Prof. Rolando Caiquet, Asst. Prof. Korina Camille F. Cue, Inst. Mary
Angelica Layug and Prof. Albert Layug) to light the candles that represent in the four goals of
Psychology. It is said that these four goals are—to describe, explain, predict, and change behavior.
The goals of psychology focus on understanding the emotions, personalities, and minds of
individuals. Through scientific studies, observations, experiments, and research, psychology aims to
achieve specific goals. Description, explanation, prediction, and change or control make up the four
psychology goals. Thank you very much and let us now witness the lighting of candles of our
psychology students.
The light that would guide them in their career that they chose can transform lives. As future
psychology practitioner they are about to pledge their oath of commitment to be led by Ms. Yna
Karylle Sarmiento 4th Year Psychology Student and President of Psych Sphere Community. Likewise,
the candle lighting signifies the student's acceptance of the challenges in their chosen profession.
HOST: Thank you, Ms. Yna Karylle Sarmiento. As we move on, we invite here on the stage our 4th-
year psychology students and Prof. Randy L. Baguling, Dean, Office of Student Affairs and Services,
for the commissioning ceremony.
HOST: Thank you Prof. Baguling. And at this moment, to give us an inspiring message, the man
behind the success of Lyceum of Subic Bay Inc., let us give him a big round of applause, Our college
president, Mr. Alfonso E. Borda.
HOST: Thank you, President Alfonso Borda. (spiel from the message). Let us now call Ms. Nissi
Pauline G. Sarmiento, 3rd Year Psychology Student and the auditor of Psych Sphere Community to
share us their tribute for all those who came to witness this event.
HOST: (spiel) As we are about to end our program, we would like to hear from the Dean of the College
of Psychology, Professor Angelo Aga D. Silvestre for the closing remarks. A round of applause please.
