Gender and equality issues are of paramount


importance in policy discourses of the forestry
sector, as gender and other diversity inequalities
have severe environmental and social
implications. Participants were introduced to a
range of concepts and approaches to identify
and explore the role of norms and social
structures in discrimination and other
inequalities in the forestry-related sectors.
STUDY REQUIREMENT

influence society and individuals
• Gender structures of forestry-related sectors in
selected countries
• Case studies and best practice examples
• Approaches and tools for dealing with
inequalities in practice
