English 9/FLC Creative Project Workshop

Below is a list of criteria for the Creative Project; read through them and check them off/answer any prompting
questions pertaining to the Creative Project you are peer reviewing. Remember: the more feedback you give your peers,
the better their chance is to receive a good grade. Be as thoughtful and thorough as possible!

Creative Project - General Questions


Project focuses on at least ONE text from class.
List of text(s): _______________
Project is age-appropriate (i.e. appropriate for 9th-grade students)
Project is analytical and represents findings/claims/etc. in an original, creative manner
Creative Project “Blueprints”
Student has a picture (or some other reasonable alternative) showing their project’s current progress
How did author present Project “Blueprints”? _______________
Creative Project Exposition/Rationale + Reflection
Explains how ALL of the creative project’s components inform/explain to others the creator’s in-depth
comprehension of the text(s)
Explains author’s WHY for choosing project topic (i.e. personal interest, unanswered question, etc.)
If more than one text is being analyzed, project contains an adequate explanation of the connection(s) is
evident
Author grades their own project, explaining their reasons logically and thoroughly, including their experience
with the chosen medium, time spent on the project, etc.
Any quotes or references to unoriginal ideas used are blended into the author’s own language and cited
appropriately parenthetically and in a "Works Cited” page
