MICROTEACHING
Create and present a 15-minute lesson exemplifying CLT

FINAL ESSAY
Adapt an activity form a textbook to be more
communicative so it solves the problem you identified in
previous modules. Write how the activity meets CEFR
descriptors and National English Teaching Standards.

Your paper will include:

1. An introduction, body, and conclusion.

SUMMARIZED CURRICULUM VITAE


Kari Miller has her Master’s in Art degree from Hamline University in St. Paul,
Minnesota, USA. For the last 25 years she has been a classroom EFL teacher, as
well as a university professor, teaching both pre- and in-service teachers in
Postgraduate programs around the country.

Kari has participated in various writing projects, including being on the team
that created and wrote the National EFL curriculum in 2015-2016. She also co-
wrote Uncover for Ecuador (Cambridge University Press) and Shape It! For
Ecuador (Cambridge University Press). Currently, Kari works at the Center for
Continuing Education in Escuela Politécnica Nacional.
