Acknowledgement
In our acknowledgement we would like to thank everyone who helped us in completing my
School Base Assessment. Firstly, we would like to thank almighty god for giving me life so
that I could complete this project. Secondly, we would like to thank my teacher for providing
guidance and helpful information so that the project could have quality. Also say thanks to our
parents for providing the essential resources that were required to complete the project. Lastly,
we would like to commend all the group members for cooperating well and working on time.

Project Title
An analysis into which of four Japanese high-end phones (Samsung, iPhone, Blu and Huawei)
ismore suited for fifth form students.

Introduction
The companies Samsung, iPhone, Blu and Huawei all make high end phones. Fifth formers
being teenagers all want the best phones if possible, meaning the cheapest with best specs for
normal and educational usage. After these phones were thoroughly investigated, I developed
these sub-problems and intend to answer in this project.

Analysis of Data
As seen in the charts above, named “Number of Students that preferred the phone brand listed.”
iPhones are the most preferred phones among the 55 students with 30 students choosing it. With
Samsung, the second most preferred phones being chosen by 14 students, followed by Huawei
being chosen by 5 students, Blu being chosen by 2 students and other phones being chosen by 4
students. A trend that is seen is that students tend to prefer more popular phones and better
performance quality over others with a lower popularity and inferior performance quality.

Discussion of Findings
The Data represented in the chart is considered to be like that because. Most of the students want
a phone that can entertain, help with school and communication. The majority of students picked
iPhone because the phone can do all of the above, but it is more expensive for some. Samsung
had a good outcome because the phone can help the students with all the same things and it has
a cheaper price. Most of the students chose iPhone and Samsung because they are more
effective compared to the other brands.

Conclusion
In conclusion the graphs have proven that iPhone is the top tier brand to buy for usage when it
comes on to school and entertainment. Samsung is runner up for second place as it is second tier
brand with 14 more students out of 55. It is also cheaper than the iPhone and has almost the
same quality as the apple product. Huawei and Blu are not the best phones for entertainment and
school as they have low quality and not capable of running certain apps and programs but they
have affordable prices. In the end of the four Japanese high end phones iPhone and Samsung are
the best brands to buy for education and entertainment.
