Delishirts - Delicious T-shirts

Previously we held a combined exhibition of independent brands in

Omotesando Hills.

As might be expected from independent brands, the scale was indeed small,
but there was nothing but stylish and unique pieces on all sides. The most
unique of all of these was a shirt called the 'delishirt' - literally, a
delicious shirt. It was an unprecedented item. Packed into and presented in
tin cans, the 'delicious shirts' had been dyed with tomato juice, soy
sauce, and sweet cooking sake, as well as squid ink.

The tomato dye gave a light pink color shirt, while the soy sauce and sweet
cooking sake of course made it look as if the whole shirt was stained with
condiments. The squid ink gave the shirt a surprisingly nice texture,
while coloring it a tasteful pale gray - a color aimed at adults.

To be able to do this kind of thing so seriously, one that seemed like a

joke - this brand was born in Osaka, and I admired the fact that the city
famous for comedy fulfilled my expectations by doing something so daring.
