COMPARSION OF PROPOSED SYSTEM
4.1 Limitations of Conventional Farming Practices/ Traditional Agriculture
Conventional farming practices, often referred to as traditional agriculture, have been
the dominant approach to food production for centuries. While these methods have been
successful in providing food for growing populations, they come with several limitations and
challenges.Hence in response to these limitations, there has been a growing shift toward
sustainable and environmentally friendly farming practices, including organic farming,
agroecology, and precision agriculture. These approaches aim to address the challenges faced
by conventional farming while promoting ecological and economic sustainability
A comparison of the proposed system with existing agricultural practices reveals
significant advancements and potential benefits in terms of efficiency, productivity, and
sustainability. The proposed system integrates AI technologies such as machine learning, IoT
sensors, and predictive analytics to revolutionize traditional farming methods into data-driven
and precision-based approaches. Unlike conventional practices that rely on manual labor and
subjective decision-making, the proposed system enables real-time monitoring of crop health,
soil conditions, and environmental parameters, providing farmers with actionable insights to
optimize resource use and enhance crop yields.
