ministrator, and our pillar we will miss you and your

Grand Children
My dear lovely Grandpa. When you left, you gained new
wings. I was heartbroken at losing you, but you were
needed more in heaven. I miss you.
You were someone people loved to frolic around. You’re
a beautiful soul inside and out. I will miss you dearly,
grandpa.
you were my biggest inspiration, my role model, and my
supporter. I knew I could always count on you. And
though you’ve gone to rest, you remain my strength.
You were the most organised person I know. Our love
remains tightly knit, even stronger as we’re apart.
Sleep beautifully, grandpa.
Brother
We are gathered here today in the memory of my
brother, Mike, so that together we may acknowledge
and share both our joy in the gift that his life was to
us, and the pain that his passing brings. In sharing the
joy and the pain together today, may we lessen the
pain and remember more clearly the joy.
Eulogy
EARLY LIFE
The late Mzee Michael Kingere Okioma Nyakundi Ocharo was Born in 1940 at
Ekenyoru Mwabondusi Kisii Kiabiraa Village to the late Okioma Omocha and late
Alice Kemonto Okioma. He was the 2nd born son in the family of six (6) (1) son and
(5) sisters namely; Bathseba Mose,Basifica, Teresa, Nyanchama and Nyangate. The
late was very focus from childhood and had a unique character. He was circum-
cised in the year 1954
.
EDUCATION
The late Mzee Kengere Nyakundi Okioma Ocharo attended Cheboswa Primary
School. In 1954 he sat examination and passed well, in 1956 he joined Chemu-
gondoi for (KAPE) Kenya Parliamentary Examination and he passed very well.
MARRIAGE
The late Mzee Kangere had two wives namely late Teresia Bitutu and late Sabina
Moraa and were blessed with 11 children’s, late Charles, Neriko, Richard Euvinalis,
Jared, Joshua, Narah, Martha, Lucy, Calleb (Obisa) Monyenye, Kamuma, Betrice,
Salome and Shadrack. Mzee Kengere as been blessed with many grandchildren 47
and five (5) great grandchildren.
DEPLOYMENT
Mzee Kengere was first employed in the year 1960 at Chamgonday Tea Factory in
Kericho as a supervisor and worked there for many years and finally he left Kericho
to Kitale and become a Farmer. Mzee Kengere was Chovial and ever charming
character.
CHURCH
Mzee Michael Kengere was a Christ Believer in Christ all his life. Mzee Michael Ken-
gere was a pure Catholic and was the first Catholic at Goseta Catholic Church
HEALTH AND DEMISE
Mzee Michael Kengere grew up in good health until this year 2024, when he start-
ed complaining stomach pains and was taken to Kitale subcounty Hospital, on
7.1.2024 and he was treated and went back home. On 5.3.24 was taken back to hos-
pital again and was admitted, several test was done and doctor discovered Mzee
was diabetic, Mzee Michael Kengere was treated well till he passed away on
9/3/24. At the age of 84 years.
Mzee Michael Kengere has left behind 11 children’s 47 grandchildren and 5 great
grandchildren and daughters in-laws, and son-in-law.
