ORDER:

The Tamil Nadu State Cooperative Societies Election Commission has been constituted
under Section 33A of the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Act, 1983.

Under Rule 52A (3) of Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Rules, 1988 the following officers
who have been appointed as the Registrar of Cooperative Societies by the Government under
Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Act are appointed as the State Election Officers
in respect of the Cooperative Societies under their respective administrative control.

1) Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Chennai.

2) Chief Executive Officer, Khadi & Village Industries Board.

3) Chief Executive Officer, Tamil Nadu Palmgur & Fibre Marketing

Cooperative Federation, Chennai.

4) Director of Sugar, Chennai.

5) Director of Sericulture, Salem.

6) Registrar of Cooperative Societies (Housing) Chennai

7) Director of Handlooms & Textiles, Chennai.

8) Commissioner of Agriculture, Chennai.

9) Commissioner of Milk Production & Dairy Development, Chennai.

10) Principal Secretary / Special Commissioner, Integrated Child.

12) Director of Fisheries, Chennai.

13) Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce, chennai.

14) Director of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, Chennai.

15) Director of Social Welfare, Chennai.

16) Commissioner of Rural Development (Bhoodan Societies), Chennai

2) Subject to the Superintendence, direction and control of the Election Commission, the
State Election Officers shall coordinate and supervise the preparation and publication of voters list
and also the conduct of election of members of the Boards and the office bearers of the Board of
Societies under their respective administrative control. They shall also perform such other
functions as may be entrusted to them by the Election Commission from time to time.
