Dear Ms. Blessing Ekwata,

RESOLUTIONS – DISCPLINARY PANEL HEARING


We received you complaint against Ms. Kareemat Belgore on the subject of her display of
unprofessional conduct of assault and disorderly behaviour in the office on 13 November
2023 at you. On that instance, a disciplinary panel hearing was organised to address that
complaint on 15 November 2023. The disciplinary panel had arrived at the following
resolutions:

1. We acknowledge your concerns about your safety and would like to reassure you that
the company is fully invested in safety of all members of staff and that we are
committed to maintain our offices and factories as safe working environments for
every employee.
2. The panel came to the conclusion that there are personal issues that may have
triggered Ms. Belgore’s reaction and that her behaviour against you was totally
unacceptable irrespective of the trigger or whatever personal matters she may have.
3. We appreciate that you reported the incident to your line manager for prompt action.
However we discourage any form of retaliation or resentment against Ms. Belgore. The
company has already effected disciplinary action to deter a reoccurrence.
4. We know that you had threatened to call your family and friends to “deal” with Ms.
Belgore and we have proof of that threat. Kindly note that our company’s policy on that
subject states in Section 12.3 Offences & Sanctions Subsection 42 that unauthorized
arrest or prosecution of fellow staff; taking personal steps to arrest, sue and or
prosecute any member of staff of the organization without prior noti ication and
authorization by management or its designate will lead to dismissal.
5. On the matter of eating during your work shift, you are advised to desist from doing so
except during your shift’s break period. You should not keep your colleague(s) waiting
for you to eat before you resume your duty while on shift.
6. Also we would advise you against to avoid any action/words that would trigger offence
in your colleague(s). You should be emotionally intelligent and treat your colleagues
with respect.
7. You shall be placed on counseling on Emotional Intelligence and any other personal
issues you would like assistance. This counseling will be conducted by the Group HR
Manager on a date that will be communicated to you.
8. You are to apologize to your colleague in writing for insulting her family by mentioning
them in your verbal tirade and in person committing yourself to collaborate and work
in unity as a team.

concern. We hope that you would take correction and give your best while in service
to the company.
