Gypsum Plaster

Gypsum plaster comprise all that class of plastering and cementing


material which are obtained by partial or complete dehydration of
natural gypsum and to which contain material that serve as retarder or
hardeners or that important greater plasticity to the product may not
have been added during or after calcinations. Raw materials- Gypsum
rocks Pure gypsum is a hydrous lime sulphate ( CaSO4. 2H₂O ), the
composition of which are by weight is as follows Lime CaO 32.6% Lime
Sulphate Sulphur trioxide SO₃ 46.5% Water H₂O 20.9% .

The physical teste must be done according to the Iraqi standard


specifications (No.24 -1988) and the requirements accordant to the
Iraqi standard specifications (No.25 -1988) and this test is Gypsum’s

The purpose of the experiment is to find the percentage of particles

Discussion of results:
If the result of the examination is for the following types of examination
