1 – lying, 2 – making, 3 – to buy, 4 – to study, 6 – walking, 7 – stealing, 8 – to be, 9 - to accept

2) Confusing words:

- Begin (began/begun) – become (became/become) – начать / становиться

- Rise (rose/risen) – raise – подниматься / поднять

- Between / among – между / среди

Мы используем between, когда говорится о выборе между двумя вещами (очень
ограниченный выбор).
I am sure he’s hiding between these 2 trees.

Мы используем among, когда говорится о трех или более вещах.

Your ticket may be among these documents. Check it.
They were hiding among the trees.
- say (to someone) / tell someone

После tell (told/told) мы должны поставить местоимения, кому говорят (БЕЗ ЧАСТИЦЫ TO)
He told me about it the other day.
После say мы можем ничего не ставить, но если мы хотим указать того, кому говорим, то
обязаны поставить частицу to.
He said to us that he would not be able to arrive at the party.

- Arrive at/arrive in
Arrive at – в какое-то место, заведение, здание
He arrived at the airport 2 hours before the flight.

Arrive in – прибытие в город, страну.

I finally arrived in Spain.

Don’ forget to use them in the context. For example, you found a word affect (влиять)
and then you build a sentence like *Lack of sleep affects my mood so hard*.
