The Department of Education (the Department) undertakes records management in accordance with legislative and business regulations for recordkeeping. DepEd noted that these documentary requirements will be attached to the permanent record of the
learners. Meanwhile, DepEd reminded that only schools and their personnel are allowed coordinate the transmission of learners' records --- whether internally or between a learner's previous and incoming class advisers and externally or between schools. “As such, schools shall not compel learners and their parents/guardians to take responsibility for
