Art for Inclusion - Greece

Long Term
The project
Long Term Volunteer placement 10th of June till 10th of December
(it can also be shorter).
It focuses on “Art for Inclusion,” with two volunteers supporting
Cube non-profit’s activities for social change through art.
Volunteers will engage in organizing and supporting creative
workshops and art-based events that promote social inclusion and
cohesion,including art residencies and infodays.
Tasks include content creation, workshop planning, and fostering
community participation on diversity, equality, and sustainability.
The project uses art for social change to create a positive impact,
promoting collaboration and inclusion in the local community.

Accommodation and meals

Volunteers in the Thessaloniki
team project from June 10th to
July 10th will stay in shared city
apartments. Each apartment
has kitchen, living area, and
shared bathrooms. Volunteers
share rooms, 2-3 per room,
fostering collaboration.
For meals, volunteers get a
budget to cook their own food,
managing preferences and
dietary needs. Apartments have
kitchens with appliances and
utensils, promoting community
and teamwork in meal
preparation.

The project place Location

Located in the Thermaic Gulf, Thessaloniki is a lively
picturesque city that has conquered the hearts of many. With
evidence of Roman, Byzantine & Ottoman periods, you can
find a variety of historical heritage such as the White Tower,
Rotunda or the Arch of Galerius.
In your free time, you can discover the upper town, Ano Poli,
or instead take the opportunity to go shopping in the street
of Tsimiski. Your options are endless!
