Deputy Mayor Harris,

The above referenced vehicle will be ready for service on Tuesday. Please let me know when
and where we can deliver this unit to you. My EV manager Robert Comitalo will deliver the
vehicle, pick up the trade 235384, go over the vehicle specifications, and charging with you.
I’ve arranged for you to have a parking space and charging station in the municipal lot at 13 th &
Arch. Tom McDade will deliver the gate pass to you.

Just an FYI the Below information is provided to all municipal EV operators.

There are two ways DFS advises to charge the vehicle, as needed:

LEVEL 2 CHARGING: There are several level-2 chargers located throughout the city on city
property. We have included a link to the map of these chargers which are spread throughout
the city. Level 2 charging is best to be utilized while a vehicle is parked or won't be necessary
for use over a period of several hours. Typical charge times for a fully depleted Chevy Bolt or
Ford Mustang Mach-e (<10%) will be approx. 7-9 hours to fully charge back to 100%. Please
note: some of these chargers are installed by using departments at their locations (or home
base). Some of these locations have restricted access or limited hours. Some of these
locations/parking spots may be occupied by the using departments that installed the charging
stations and their vehicles.

LEVEL 3 DC FAST CHARGING: DFS has a contract with a vendor (EVGo) to provide DC Fast
Charging of city vehicles. These commercially owned charging stations are typically located at
shopping malls and convenient stores throughout the city and just outside the city limits. These
chargers will charge a Chevy Bolt or Ford Mustang Mach-e city vehicle from 20 - 80%
(recommended state of charge) in around half hour to an hour depending on current state of
charge and ambient temperature. We recommend operators utilize these charging stations
during non-peak hours (early in the morning or after the evening rush) to ensure station
availability.

See attachment for a quick tips and best practices card that we share with everyone operating
an EV (this should also be inside the vehicle, usually in the glove box). Contained on the quick
tips sheet are links to help get acclimated with electric vehicles and charging. There are also
links to the citywide level-2 charging map as well as a link to a map showing where EVGo Fast
Chargers are located.

I hope this information helps and if there are any other questions or an in-person
demonstration is needed, feel free to reach out to Bob.

Thanks.
