Overview

The image shows a strong hoover

designed for heavy-duty cleaning
tasks. The hoover cleaner's
stainless-steel lower part and
cylindrical shape make it more
durable in hostile conditions or
with repeated use. The motor and
filter mechanism gathers several
types of dirt and particles, most
likely contained in the visually
noticeable yellow plastic cover
that is detachable for effective
cleaning and sits above the metal
barrel. This cover contains a list
of the operating controls. The
striking contrast between the steel
and yellow gives the hoover a
luxurious, upscale appearance.
The device includes four caster
wheels at the base that enable
smooth movement across a work area. The strong, black corrugated hose that connects to the
hoover seems to be designed to resist damage from frequent twisting and bending. The metallic
wand with the wide, thin floor attachment at the end is connected to this hose. This attachment is
designed to clean in compact spaces with different end defectors and its small wheels or sliders
make it easy to maneuver across a variety of floor types. The floor attachment appears to be an
extra feature that expands the vacuum's utility for both dry and wet messes. It can be used as a
brush to loosen soil or as a squeegee to remove wet spills. Garages, workshops, and commercial
settings would benefit from this. Despite its modern design's eye-catching appeal, the appliance
has a sturdy, efficient appearance that prioritizes efficiency over beauty. The design of the hoover
cleaner emphasizes features like a large capacity that would require fewer emptying and an
easy-to-handle grip on top for transporting. This equipment appears like it would work really
well in settings that require thorough and regular cleaning.

Class Assignment 2 (19/01) [Compensatory Work]

Overview
A candle is an ignitable wick that
is encased in wax or similar solid
flammable material, such tallow,
and it emits light and,
occasionally, aroma. Even though
the candle provides significantly
less light than even the cruelest
electrical lightbulb, my eyes can
only take so much. The picture
shows a single candle glowing
warmly and lovingly. Because the
candle is an ivory wax pillar
made with molding wax, it stands
out against the surrounding
darkness. Its faultless
appearance—which is devoid of any drips of wax—is evidence of the painstaking craftsmanship.
The center of the flame was a strong yellow light that was gradually shaped by the calm
surrounding air to a lovely orange at its edge.

The picture's purposeful lighting draws attention to the candle, the wax's smoothness, and the
faint gradients in the flame. The picture has a dazzling gloss that gives it a calm, even holy
appearance since the surface of the candle catches the light. Its surface reflects a gentle glow
from below, which eventually disappears into the surrounding darkness. The picture's purposeful
lighting brings out the subtle gradients in the flame, the smoothness of the wax, and the candle.
The surface of the candle captures the light, resulting in a bright shine that gives the image a
calm, even holy appearance. Its surface is softly reflected by the light below, fading into the
surrounding darkness. This form of flame is called a diffusion flame, and it gets its light from the
air in the surrounding atmosphere. The remarkable thing about the renown is that it doesn't
interfere with the thread that's inside the candle. Isn't that incredible? This effect is caused by
fuel, or wax, atomizing, or dispensing itself into tiny gas molecules. A chain reaction starts as
soon as fire, or energy, comes into contact with microscopic particles, lighting the candle's flame.

Class Assignment 3 (19/01) [Compensatory Work]

Overview
The MacBook Air, a laptop made
by Apple Inc. that is renowned for
its portability, is the gadget seen in
the picture. With a resolution of
2560 x 1600 pixels, the MacBook
Air boasts a 13.3-inch display. It is
driven by a 16-core neural engine
and an 8-core CPU found in the
Apple M1 processor. In addition,
the MacBook Air features a
maximum of 2TB of SSD storage and 8GB of unified memory. Force Touch technology is used
in the trackpad. Although the model seen in the picture is silver, the MacBook Air is also
available in space gray, gold, and rose gold. The MacBook Air is available for purchase for $999
USD. Here are the key advantages and disadvantages of the MacBook Air:

Advantages:

Ø Exceptional performance

Ø Long battery life

Ø Lightweight and thin

Ø Excellent display quality

Ø Fuzzy keyboard and trackpad

Disadvantages:

Ø High cost

Ø Limited ports

Ø Lower power than competing laptops

Ø Not everyone may find a keyboard to their taste.

In general, the MacBook Air is an excellent laptop for anybody in need of a powerful and
portable computer, including students and business people. If you want a light, thin laptop with a
long battery life, this is a fantastic option; however, if you require a lot of power or connectors,
this might not be the greatest option. Not a good option either if you need to utilize heavy
technical software such as SolidWorks, Ansys, AutoCAD, etc. I would not purchase this laptop
as a mechanical engineer; instead, I would purchase a laptop with greater processing and
graphics capabilities because I need to run simulations that a MacBook cannot. Once more,
though, each person has a unique option and perspective.

Home Assignment 3 (19/01) [Compensatory Work]

Home Assignment:
See the picture below and describe the device. (300 words)
The image shows a cutting-edge gas hob that is a unique addition to any contemporary kitchen
since it combines practicality with a streamlined look. The hob has a glossy black finish, which
is characteristic of a high-end kitchen equipment that doubles as a fashionable decorative piece
and a useful tool. The cooktop's stainless-steel construction ensures long-lasting quality and a
clean look. The material selection is deliberate, providing a trinity of durability, wear and tear
resistance, and simplicity of maintenance—qualities highly appreciated in culinary settings. The
burners on top of the cooker are made of brass, which was chosen for its remarkable
heat-conducting and heat-retaining properties. Because brass is used, the burners will last longer
and maintain consistent cooking temperatures because they can withstand high heat for lengthy
periods of time without losing their shape.

One particularly inventive feature of the stove's gas supply connection is its "360 Degree Swivel
type revolving inlet nozzle." The stove's location is made more flexible by this revolving
connection point, which makes it simple to adjust to the kitchen's gas line configuration and to
reposition the stove with ease. Another element that is highlighted is the "Heavy 3D pan
support". These sturdy supports have a multi-dimensional design that can handle the weight of
even the largest pots and pans used for large dinners. They are designed to hold cookware firmly
from any angle. The "Reinforced mirror finished toughened glass" that makes up the cooking
surface is a crucial component of the design. This glass's bright brilliance adds visual appeal, but
it's also designed for durability. The glass is strengthened so that it can resist the heat
requirements of cooking and the odd bumps and knocks that come with kitchen activities.

The cooker is operated via "ergonomic knobs" at the front that are positioned for comfortable
handling and accurate flame control. The ergonomic feature suggests that these knobs are made
to be easy for the user to hold in their hands and adjust the flame. It has a sophisticated "Multi
spark auto ignition" mechanism that makes lighting the burners easier. With just one turn of a
knob, this contemporary ignition eliminates the antiquated requirement for manual igniting
devices like lighters and provides a steady, fast flame. "Multi spark" refers to a design that
produces many sparks to guarantee instantaneous ignition.

To summarize, the picture shows a gas hob that expertly combines upscale features with modern
styling. The features of the hob, which are aimed at customers who value kitchen performance
just as highly as aesthetic appeal, indicate a thoughtful approach to appliance design. It
highlights safety, cooking efficiency, and user-friendliness, showing how kitchen appliances have
evolved to meet the demands of modern cooks who are passionate about both the culinary arts
and the design of their kitchen.
