MOMENTUM AND IMPULSE

What impulse is produced by a force of 1kN that acts on

Adebowale's face for 0.2 seconds?
Inspector Abodunrin fires a bullet of mass 20g towards a terrorist
on the run. If the velocity of the bullet is 9000m/s, calculate its
momentum.

Inspector Abodunrin fires a bullet of mass 20g towards a

terrorist on the run. If the initial velocity of the bullet is
9000m/s, and the final velocity of the bullet just before hitting
the terrorist is 3000m/s. Calculate the change in the
momentum of the bullet momentum.
RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN IMPULSE AND MOMENTUM
Mr. Somebody applies a force of 50N for 3 seconds on a toy car. If
the mass of the toy car is 300g: (a)calculate its change in velocity.
(b) if the initial velocity of the toy car is 100m/s, what is its final
velocity?
COLLISION
Collision occurs when two objects hit each other. Consider two
objects 'a' and 'b' with masses 'Ma' and 'Mb' moving towards each
other with initial velocities 'Ua' and 'Ub'. When they collide, the
law of conservation of linear momentum must be obeyed.
The law of conservation of linear momentum states that in an
isolated (closed) system of colliding objects/particles, the total
momentum before collision must be equal to the total
momentum after collision.
