Who can light the res

Of a thousand burning suns

Blazing in the heavens?
There is only One
He is our God
fi
Who commands the nations
Building up and tearing down
Silencing His rivals?
There is only One
He is our God, He is our God
Holy, You alone are holy
Matchless in Your glory, holy God
Who would come to save us
When we turned away His love
Conquer us with kindness?
There is only One
He is our God, He is our God
Holy, You alone are holy
Matchless in Your glory,
no one is like You
Worthy, You alone are worthy
We adore You only, holy God
Now to the King on the throne
Who was and is to come
And to the Lamb Who was slain be glory
Now to the King on the throne
Who was and is to come
And to the Lamb Who was slain be glory
Now to the King on the throne
Who was and is to come
And to the Lamb Who was slain be glory
Holy, You alone are holy
Matchless in Your glory,
no one is like You
Worthy, You alone are worthy
We adore You only, holy God

Christ the sure and steady anchor,
In the fury of the storm;
When the winds of doubt
blow through me,
And my sails have all been torn.
In the su ering, in the sorrow,
When my sinking hopes are few;
I will hold fast to the anchor,
It shall never be removed.
ff
Christ the sure and steady anchor,
While the tempest rages on;
When temptation claims the battle,
And it seems the night has won.
Deeper still then goes the anchor,
Though I justly stand accused;
I will hold fast to the anchor,
It shall never be removed.
Christ the sure and steady anchor,
Through the oods of unbelief;
Hopeless somehow, O my soul, now,
Lift your eyes to Calvary.
This my ballast of assurance,
See his love forever proved.
I will hold fast to the anchor,
It shall never be removed.
fl
Christ the sure and steady anchor,
As we face the wave of death;
When these trials give way to glory,
As we draw our nal breath.
We will cross that great horizon,
Clouds behind and life secure;
And the calm will be the better,
For the storms that we endure.
fi
Christ the shore of our salvation,
Ever faithful, ever true!
We will hold fast to the anchor,
It shall never be removed.

O fount of love divine that ows
From my Savior’s bleeding side
Where sinners trade their lthy rags
For His righteousness applied
Mercy cleansing ev’ry stain
Now rushing o’er us like a ood
There the wretch and vilest ones
Stand adopted through His blood

O mount of grace to Thee we cling,
from the law hath set us free
Once and for all on Calv’ry’s hill,
love and justice shall agree
Praise the Lord the price is paid,
the curse defeated by the Lamb
We who once were slaves by birth,
sons and daughters now we stand.
O well of joy is mine to drink,
for my Lord has conquered death
Victorious forevermore,
the ancient foe is laid to rest
Hallelujah Christ is King,
alive and reigning on the throne
Our tongues employed
with hymns of praise,
Glory be to God alone
Hallelujah Christ is King,
alive and reigning on the throne
Our tongues employed
with hymns of praise,
Glory be to God alone

Your words are wonderful,
unfolding like the dawn
A wellspring and the rock we rest upon
We trust Your promises
that keep our hope alive
They steady us
throughout life’s weary climb
Where else can we go?
Where else can we go?
You have the words of life,
the words of life
Come write Your holy truth
upon our longing hearts
And strengthen us
to shine against the dark
Lord, guard us from the lies
the enemy will speak
No guilt remains
for those You have redeemed
Where else can we go?
Where else can we go?
You have the words of life,
the words of life
Make Your glory known,
make Your glory known
Through all Your words of life,
Your words of life
Give us ears to hear and eyes to see
Help us in our doubt and unbelief
Give us ears to hear and eyes to see
Help us in our doubt and unbelief
Give us ears to hear and eyes to see
Help us in our doubt and unbelief
Where else can we go?
Where else can we go?
You have the words of life,
the words of life
Make Your glory known,
make Your glory known
Through all Your words of life,
Your words of life
Through all Your words of life,
Your words of life

Be Thou my Vision,
O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me,
save that Thou art.
Thou my best Thought,
by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping,
Thy presence my light.
Be Thou my Wisdom,
and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee
and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father,
I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling,
and I with Thee one.
Riches I heed not,
nor man’s empty praise,
Thou mine Inheritance,
now and always:
Thou and Thou only,
rst in my heart,
High King of Heaven,
my Treasure Thou art.
fi
High King of Heaven,
my victory won,
May I reach Heaven’s joys,
O bright Heaven’s Sun!
Heart of my own heart,
whatever befall,
Still be my Vision,
O Ruler of all.
Be Thou My Vision

Parent Dedication
Will you, as God enables, seek to show
your children how a husband loves his wife,
as Christ loved the church, and how a wife
subjects herself to her husband in
everything just as the church willingly
subjects herself to Christ? If you parents
will af rm this statement, would you please
respond together by stating We will.
fi
Will you, as God enables, seek to confess
your sinfulness to your family, as well as
seek their forgiveness when necessary, for
the ultimate desire of pleasing God in all
your ways?
Will you, as God enables, seek to abstain
from sexual immorality, and to promote
sexual purity in your home?
Will you, as God enables, seek to manage
the Lord’s money and resources with the
utmost integrity, delighting in ways to be
better stewards of all your time, talents,
and treasures, while always looking to Him
to provide for your basic life needs?
Will you, as God enables, seek to do the
work of an evangelist (2 Timothy 4:5),
witnessing to those God brings into your
lives, sharing with them the love and mercy
provided alone in Jesus Christ, and to instill
in your children the same desire to share
this eternal message?
Will you, as God enables, seek to raise
your children in the discipline and
instruction of the Lord?
Will you, as God enables, seek to teach
your children the Word of God, and to
endeavor to be a model of Christ-likeness
for them?
Will you, as God enables, seek to
consistently provide your children with the
rod of reproof, for their correction and
training, so that they will cease their
foolishness and become wise?
Will you, as God enables, seek to speak
with godly wisdom, and to continually train
your children not to speak unrighteously?
Will you, as God enables, seek to love your
God with all your heart, mind, soul, and
strength, and to love your neighbor as
yourself, seeking to live a pure and
unde led religion by visiting orphans and
widows in their distress, and keeping
yourself unstained by the world, all the
while desiring to see the same in your
children and theirs?
fi
for the congregation . . .
Will you, the congregation of Summit
Woods Baptist Church, strive to love
these young families fervently, from the
heart? Will you invest and share your
lives with them? Will you be diligent and
earnest in your Prayers for the salvation
of their children? Will you encourage
them, admonish them, rebuke them,
instruct them, and build them
up in our most holy faith?
Will you forgive them as they repent
from their sin? Will you be patient and
kind with them? And will you strive
together with them to live and share the
gospel with sinners, in every nation, with
every tongue, with every tribe until that
great and glorious day when every knee
shall bow and every tongue confess that
Jesus is Lord to the glory of God in
heaven?
