In compliance with DM- OUOPS-2024-11-02487 titled” Schedule of The SELG and SSLG Election SY 2024-2025 “,
this activity shall amplify the voices of learners for representation and decision making. Specifically, this activity
aims to provide support to all learners to instill effective leadership which shall contribute to their Holistic
Development.
SELG Activities Date This organization serves as training ground for the pupils to

Thus, Masanga Es conducted the activities with the
Collaborative effort of SELG Adviser, teachers and pupils of
Masanga ES. The program started with screening of candidates
and filling out their candidacy. The candidates filed their COC
according to their respective parties, the SELG Adviser announced,`
the list of candidates and conducted a meeting for all candidates.
The SELG Adviser discussed the responsibilities and duties of SELG
Officer. The campaign period was scheduled from April 23 to April 25.
The candidates has unlimited time to have their campaign, and each party independently planned their campaign
strategies and went from room to room to introduce themselves and persuade the pupils to support and vote for
them.
There were two groups of pupils aspiring for the positions in SELG.
The Team Champion, headed by Yancy L. Curioso and Team Unity
headed by Jhon Cedrick T. Atip.

Counting
of votes
The election period took place on April 26, 2024. The voting process started at 8:0 AM and continued until 9:30 AM.
The ballots were placed in the box provided, and after the smooth flow of the election, the SELG Adviser announced
that after an hour, the votes would be counted. The Masanga teaching force, together with SELG Officer 2023-2024
started counting the votes of candidates. The candidates felt nervous and excited during counting because they
wanted to win this battle and also they wanted to serve as officers of SELG.
The SELG Election was successfully conducted, where the pupils were given the chance to participate and
exercise their suffrage during the election and SELG Adviser proclaimed the new set of SELG officers.
The new set of officers were ready to face new challenges for quality services for the school and pupils welfare.
