Chapter IV

DISCUSSION OF RESULTS

This chapter presents how the researchers the process of assessment

and analysis of the data we collected, writing the overall summary of the essence,

also constructing the final conclusion of the researchers’ assessment

on school implementation.

Here are the hypotheses:

Hypothesis 1 : Students with high knowledge and perception on school policy will

have fewer rule violations, such as vandalism, bullying, instances of violated

electronic possession ( i.e, vapes) etc.

Hypothesis 2 : Students with obedience in following their local school mandatory

school uniform policy will have their satisfaction on their uniforms.

Hypothesis 3 : Students with low perception on school policy will likely to have

more conflicts and mild to high violations generating every school days.

Hypothesis 4 : Students with high perceptions in school policy would likely realize

the sense of unity and will have to feel belong in their school, creating strong

education bonds with other students.

The results are based from ‘assessment level points’, created by researchers of

Group 4, which objective is to indicate the level of students’ implementations and

awareness in wearing school attires and following the local school uniform

mandatory. Below this statement are the total points range,

Total Points Range:

1-50 - The students have a lack in sense of implementing and obeying school

mandatory policies and regulations.

51 - 140 - The students have moderate knowledge about school policies and are able

to follow school protocols as well.

141 - below 200 - The students have high knowledge and perceptions in school

mandatory policies, and always follow the school protocols as indeed it should be.

The points will determine the implementation level of students when it come to

school mandatory policies, protocols, and most importantly, which is our main topic,

school attire. The graphs and table in the next page will show the results itself, and

their explanations to be followed.

The graph 1.1 shows the assessment level of students in Grade 7 Level, with its

Sections,(Marilag, Marikit, Mayumi.), According to the pie chart, the G7-A (labeled

green) had a points of 89, consisting 58.3% of the chart, the G7-F (labeled orange)

consists 35 points; 23.3% of the chart, the G7-S (labeled yellow) consists 21
points;

14% of the chart, the G7-R (labeled blue) had only one point and comprises the

0.7% part of the chart, and the last piece, G7-N (labeled light green) consists 4

points and the remaining 2.7% of the chart, having a total of 150 points. which

shows the third suggestion in total points rule.

The graph 1.2 shows the assessment level of students in Grade 8 Level, with its

Sections, (Padayon, Hiraya, Kinaadmaan), According to the pie chart, the G8-A

(labeled dark green) had 58 points, consisting 42% of the chart, the G8-F (labeled

red) consists 45 points; 32.8% of the chart, the G8-S (labeled brown) consists

27 points and 19.6% of the chart, the G8-R (labeled purple) has 4 points, and also

consists 2.9% of the chart and the last piece, G8-N (labeled light pink)

consists also 4 points and the remaining 2.7% of the chart, having a total of 138

points.which shows the second suggestion in total points rule.

The graph 1.3 shows the assessment level of students in Grade 9 Level, with its

Sections, (Lam-Ang,Darangan,Ibalon ), According to the pie chart, the G9-A

(labeled light green) had 63 points, consisting 42% of the chart, the G9-F (labeled

green) consists 48 points; 32% of the chart, the G9-S (labeled yellow) consists

28 points and 18.7% of the chart, the G9-R (labeled purple) has 10 points,

consisting 6.7% of the chart and the last piece, G9-N (labeled light pink)

consists only 1 point, and the remaining 0.7% of the chart, having a total of 150

points.which shows the second suggestion in total points rule.

The graph 1.3 shows the assessment level of students in Grade 9 Level, with

its Sections, (Calaguas,Camiguin,Coron), According to the pie chart, the G10-A

(labeled gray) had 67 points, consisting 45.3% of the chart, the G10-F (labeled
green)

consists 26 points; 17.6% of the chart, the G10-S (labeled orange) consists 30 points

and 20.3% of the chart, the G10-R (labeled purple) has 12 points, consisting 8.1% of

the chart and the last piece, G10-N (labeled pink) consists 13 points, and the

remaining percent of the chart is 8.8% , having a total of 148 points. which shows the

third suggestion in total points rule.

Overall Results

Table 1. Survey of Implementation Awareness of Wearing School Attire

Grade 7 Grade 8 Grade 9 Grade 10

Always 89 58 63 67

Frequent 35 45 48 26

Sometimes 21 27 28 30

Rarely 1 4 10 12

Never 4 4 1 13

Total Points 150 138 150 148

The table above shows the fully detailed total points of participants and the

arrangement os the answer of their choice, of which identifies the students’ understanding

of school attire in relation to their performance, in the first row(G7), it is shown that many

learners are aware and fully understood the concept of school uniforms, as they have the

highest number points on the ‘always’ section than other grade levels, as confirmed

by the third rule of the total points range (as shown in page 2.) this shows that Grade 7

level has the most knowledgeable students in TMCNHS-Conchu Annex, while the Grade 8

have the less knowledge than required, however still had the self-awareness on mandatory

school policies. Even the Grade 9 has the same point range as the Grade 7, the Grade 9 has

less knowledge than the latter. The Grade 10 had the most point range in the ‘never’ option.
Coming to overall results, when it comes to the total point range, G7 and G9 are tied to the

first place, while G10 placed in the second rank, and lastly, G8 has the lowest total point

range of all Grade Levels

Conclusion
The researchers of this research, finally concluded that school attire is a big help for

developing the school-friendly environment for the students, and it is a must for education,

because it is a widely symbolism for cleanliness and impurity of the school and the students,

instilling the discipline, formality and respect.

Recommendations

- The reseachers recommend to always remind the students the importance of wearing

school attire and to encourage them to wear it every time of school days.

To The Parents

- The researchers recommend to guide their children when it comes to wearing school

uniforms and check their everyday outfits, explain to them that wearing school uniforms

would employ safety for them.

To The Learners

- The researchers recommend that even the school attire is slightly restricted, they should

still wear school uniforms, the researchers encourages students to wear them as it makes
