Flashover Galley Fire Ship Motor Fire

Maritime FIRETRAINER® T-500

This structural training system was integrated into an existing ship, which was converted for training
purposes. The whole training facility was founded by the EU program „INTERREG IV Oberrhein/Rhin
supérieur (CRERF)“ for the maritime fire fighters of the French „Fire Department of Bas-Rhin (SDIS
67)“ and is also used by numerous fire brigades located around the Rhine from France over Germany
to Switzerland.
The ship is equipped with several different training areas like a rescue training area for overboard
personal, crashed container training area and a live fire training area.
KFT Fire Trainer‘s scope of work comprised of the installation of the following fire places including
semi-automatic T-500 control system and heat linings:
0 Galley Fire (with wall cupboard) 0 Berthing Bed Fire
0 Ship Motor Fire 0 Flashover
