Journal Question:
Based on the activities, what can you say about the function of mathematics in keeping regularities,
structure and beauty in the world?
Explain in not less than 5 sentences.
I believe the mathematical connection between beauty and numbers is more than just a coincidence. I
believe it is a system built on efficiency and adaptability to the environments. But beauty is rather
subjective, not all brains are programmed to like the same thing but we know for sure that there is a
mathematical equivalent of attractiveness whether we agree or not.
