Name: CABALLERO, CLAIRYSSA MYN D. Assignment 1

Student No.: 22-00023 Date: OCT 14, 2022

Direction:
A. Finding Golden Ration of your face. Measure the following parts of your face and
compute its ratio. Show your measurements and solution. Paste a picture of your
face with measurements.
1. Crown to Chin 9 Inches 9/8= 1.12
Width of face 8 Inches
2. Crown to pupil 4 Inches 4/3= 1.33
Pupil to lips 3 Inches
3. Nose tip to chin 3.5 Inches 3.5/2= 1.75
Lips to chin 2 Inches
4. Nose tip to chin 3.5 Inches 3.5/2= 1.75
Pupil to nose tip 2 Inches
5. Width of nose 2.3 Inches 2.3/1.5= 1.53
Nose tip to lips 1.5 Inches
6. Width of nose 2.3 Inches 2.3/1.7=1.35
Length of lips 1.7 Inches
7. Outer distance 1.7 Inches 1.7/3.5=0.48
between eyes 3.5 Inches
Hairline to pupil
Make an analysis on your findings:

The Greeks discovered that 1:1.618 was the ideal proportion of the face. The ratio of my
face is almost perfect. It hasn’t reached the perfect ratio. It has some flaws but in my findings
we all have a unique features and measurements that makes as different from other people. My
face is wider in width than the perfect face ratio and much smaller in length, and other
measurements that is barely accurate to the perfect face ratio.

B. In relation to golden ratio, give 3 examples of celebrities with almost perfect

faces. Paste the picture of their faces and explain why?

1. BELLA HADID
 Overall result: 94.35
 She has a stunning facial symmetry
and a chin that is only 0.3% away from
perfection. She also came second for
her eye positioning. Her biggest
weakness is in the brow area.

2. BEYONCE
 Overall result: 92.44
 She scored highly on her forehead and
brow area and her face shape, but was
marked down for her eyebrows and chin

3. TAYLOR SWIFT
 Overall result: 91.64
 She scored very highly for her
chin and lips, but was held back
by a low score for her eyebrows.
C. Will the universe exist without Mathematics or vice versa? Explain your stand in a
paragraph form.

The universe will not exist without mathematics because without mathematics we will
never know how the world works. Math is all around us, it helps us identify symmetry,
patterns, orders, sequence, ratio, measurement, and many more. Without math I
believe that the world would be super chaotic and messy, because everything is
unequal and not in order.

Math is everywhere in the universe like how many times the planet orbits around the
sun are equal to a year. How the earth’s rotation is equal to a 1 whole day and night.
The flowers, animals, and human have a symmetrical feature. The patterns of days,
months and year we have every day are also the results of mathematics in our universe.

Specific Direction:
