Old Emergency Lighting unit: The generallighting inside
the coaches is provided by AC or DC Supply from
battery. The supply system is backed up by battery
system of 110V DC for self-generation type coaches
and Emergency battery backup 110V DC or 24V DC

Safety Light Unit:SLU are provided in doorways and inside
coach. The system works in extreme dusty, foggy, and
desert conditions in certain areas. The general lighting

Passenger Information system: Passenger Information system
is there in the AC coaches and NON-AC coaches.
Passenger Information system is based on Global Positioning
System for tracking the current station location of the train and
time.
Gang work man safety remote: During working on tracks, P
way officials have to sand/walk on adjacent track, which is
generally under normal traffic. Due to noise they failed to see
& approach to respond to the train. Hence the number of
accidents take place.Gang work man safety remote to warn the
approaching train.
Hand signal lamps: Hand signal lamps are used for signaling
purpose between Driver and Guard. Battery operated LED
based Torch Light-cum-Hand Signal Lamp shall be powered by
four commercially available leak proof cells.
