Hello!
My name's Dasha and I'm a doll designer!
I create and crochet dolls and also make patterns to them.
I've been keen on handmade since my childhood, but only
crocheting has been thrown me into!
Recently, I've published my book with princess and super
heroes patterns in Russian!

This pattern doesn't include any tutorial lessons.

Supplies
The size of the completed doll is 11.31 inches if you use the similar
supplies mentioned below.

1) Yarn:
YarnArt Jeans (50g/160m, 55% cotton, 45% acryl):
- color 07 (beige) - for body;
- color 53 (black, 2 skeins) - for shoes, pants, dress and hair;

Alpina LILY (50g/175m, 100% mercerized cotton):


- color 19 (red) - for a rose;
- color 138 (green) - for a rose;
You can use any other yarn of the same characteristics.

2) hook, suitable for the chosen yarn. I've used Tulip 1.5 - to make the doll
and Clover 1.25 - for the rose;
3) Moulinet thread of black color;
4) Steel wire of 1 mm thick and about 2 m long, tapesty tape.
If you are going to make the doll
without any skeleton, you should use a
barbecue skewer or any other skeleton
for the neck.
5) A piece of plastic or cardboard of 3.9
x 3.9 inches;
6) Some strong glue like "Moment" or
any other one;
7) A pair of safety eyes, 12 mm;
8) Oil pastel of black, peach color (you
can use blusher instead), a paint brush
to tint;
9) The pliers, scissors, pins;
10) A needle and a tapestry needle;
11) 1 invisible scrunchie
12) Fiberfill.

Arms

Beige thread color.


2 pieces.
Don't fill with fiber.

5 row: (1 dec- 3 sc)*2 (8) (the 1st dec must be exactly above 3 dc
bobble)
6 - 7 row (2 rows): 8 sc
3 shifting sc along left arm to have thread changing color exactly along
inner part of the arm.
Chanage thread color into black one, cut beige thread.

If it's necessary work shifting sc to finish the work along the inner part
of the arm (from different sides of right and left arms).

Don't work the last sc in the 6th row. Place the marker. It must be
exactly along the center in the back.

Insert insole (you can glue it) inside the shoes.


Cut 2 oval insoles from plastic or cardboard according to the size of the
foot (in my case, it's 0.78x1.36 inches).
Dec from 9 to 11 rows must be exactly along the center of the toe. If it's
necessary work required number of shifting sc.

Change thread color into beige one, cut black thread.

Insert wire skeleton.
Take a piece of aluminium wire of 2 mm thick and
23.4 inches long, fold in halves and bend it in spiral
and wrap the part with adhesive tape, make a form of
foot.

Insert wire skeleton inside the leg with wrapped end


down. Then fill the foot with fiber tightly with the help
of a skewer or sushi stick. Fill the leg with fiber in the
process.

Bind off the foot


Attach black thread color to FLO of the 3rd row (point "2" in the
photo), 32 sl st.
Fix and cut thread, hide tail thread.

Bind off the upper part of the shoe


Attach black thread color to FLO of the 7th row (point "3" in the
photo), 26 sl st.
Fix and cut thread, hide tail thread.

Body
Fill the body with fiber in the process.
Place the legs to have the toes facing straight. Leg
attachment must be exactly along the center of inner
part of hips.
2 ch, sl st in the last sc of the 2nd leg.
Twist wire of both legs to join them together as shown
in the photo. Wrap twisted wire with adhesive tape to
make wire skeleton safer.

Place the marker, it must be along the back.

Fold in halves and work BLO 35 sl st, leave a short gash in the bottom
(point "5" in the photo).
Fix and cut thread, hide tail thread. Turn the skirt out.

Go on working the body. Attach the skirt. Put on on the toy to have the
gash at the side. Work by the scheme.

Insert wire inside the arms. Take a piece of wire of 1mm thick and
10.14 inches long, bend it in both ends in 0.39 inches and wrap with
adhesive tape.
Insert wire in both arms behind main skeleton (see the photo). Fill the
arms with fiber with the help of a skewer or sushi stick (fill the palm
tightly and the rest of arm a bit).

Push the lower part of the neck inside the head with the help of sushi
stick. Make sure the head is filled with fiber tightly and it can be easily
inserted onto the neck.
Try the head on the body.
Firstly decorate the face and then fix it to the body.

Decoration

4 3 2 1

Make eye contraction. Use beige thread color. Insert a needle into the
bottom of the head, pull it out point 1 (see the photo). Insert a needle
into point 2 and pull it out point 3. Insert a needle into point 4 and pull
it out the bttom of the head.
Tighten tail threads and make some strong knots. Hide tail threads
inside the head. If it's necessary repeat eye contraction.
Embroider the whites of the eye with white thread.
Embroider the eyelids and lashes with black moulinet thread.
Embroider the nose with yarn of beige thread (1 sc lower than the eye,
3 sc wide; don't make more than 2-3 stitches).
Embroider arched eyebrows with black thread color (2 rows above the
eyes, 4 sc wide).
Tint the cheeks and nose with oil pastel or blusher of pink color.
Tint upper and lower eyelids and eyebrows a bit with oil pastel of black
color.

Hair

Black thread color.


13 ch, turn the work, from the 2nd ch.
1 row: 11 sc - 3 sc in 1 ch - 10 sc - 1 inc (26)
2 row: 1 inc - 10 sc - 3 inc - 10 sc - 2 inc (32)
Work tresses along the chain, in turning rows, from the 2nd ch. Hold
the work with fingers to avoid twisting the tresses.
3 row: 1 - 32 tress (32 tresses): (1 sc - 51 ch, from the 2nd ch - 50 sc
along the chain)*32
Fix and cut thread, leave long tail thread for attaching.
Iron or steam the tresses to make them straight.
Sew or glue the wig as it's shown in the photo on next page.

Attach the wig to the top of the head.
Sew the tresses tightly to each other. If it's necessaryattach them
overlapped.
You can make a pony tail and fix with an invisible scrunchie.

Head attachment
After head decoration, attach it to the body.

Rose

Blossom (upper part)


Thin yarn of red thread color.
28 ch, turn the work, from the 4th ch.
1 row: 2 dc in 1 ch - 1 ch, skip 1 ch - (3 dc in 1 ch - 1 ch, skip 1
ch)*11 - 3 dc in 1 ch - 2 ch, turn the work
2 row: (1 dc- 2 dc in 1 stitch - 1 dc - 2 ch - 1 sc in ch space - 2 ch)*12
- 1 dc - 2 dc in 1 stitch - 1 dc- 2 ch - 1 sl st in the botom of the last dc.
Fix and cut thread, leave tail thread for attaching.
Fold the rose in spiral as it's shown in the photo. Sew along the
bottom.

THE 2ND ROW OF THE


BLOSSOM

Leaf
Thin yarn of green thread color.
6 ch, turn the work, from the 2nd ch.
1 row: 4 sc - 3 sc in 1 stitch - 3 sc - 1 inc (12)
3 ch, turn the work, along the chain, from the 2nd stitch: 1 sl st - 1 sc -
1 sl st in the next stitch along main part of the leaf - 3 sc - 1 sl st.
Fix and cut thread, leave long tail thread.

Sepal
Thin yarn of green thread color.
1 row: 6 sc in MR
2 row: 6 inc (12) 9
3 row: 12 sc
4 row: (1 sc - 4 ch, turn the work, from the 2nd ch: 1 sl st - 1 sc - 1 dc
- skip 1 stitch - 1 sc)*4
Fix and cut thread, hide tail thread.

Stem and attachment


Take a piece of wire, 1 mm thick and 4.68 inches long. Insert it inside
MR of the sepal (point "8" in the photo).
Glue the stem and srap it with thin green thread tightly.
Attach the leaf to the stem and fix it with some glue.
Glue the blossom to the sepal.
