Choose a contemporary socio-economic issue in South Africa that you have learnt about, or an aspect of one
of these issues.

 Find at least two newspaper articles that deal with the issue.
 Consult at least one other source that provides information about the issue (for example: a book, a
government report, a magazine or the internet).
 Summarize your findings.
 Identify at least two ways that this issue impacts on business, and suggest two ways that a business
could respond to this issue.
 Prepare an oral presentation of approximately three minutes in which you summarise key aspects of
the issue, how it impacts on business and how business could respond.

organisation of your presentation, and the delivery of your presentation.
