LP - Natural REsources
LP - Natural REsources
LESSON PLAN
I. Learning objectives:
At the end of the Science class, at least 80% of the students should be able to:
1. List the things that are renewable and non-renewable resources
2. State the difference between renewable and non-renewable resources
3. Show awareness that we should take part in taking good care of our resources.
C. Generalization
Value Concept:
How are we going to help in saving our natural resources? How do we
limit the use of non-renewable resources since the Earth has a limited supply
of them?
3
Integration of the 7 HABITS number 5: SHARPEN THE SAW. This habit
talks about being an integral person, feeding our physical, mental, social, and
spiritual sides. In this lesson of natural resources, students have learned that
materials important to humans are made of these natural resources. They were
prompt them to think about where their trash goes when it is thrown away, and how
this affects the Earth. What are the natural resources that they throw in the
trash the most?
» Which resources do they use the most?
» Why is it important to conserve natural resources?
» What would happen to the earth if we used more resources than it could make?
» How can we conserve natural resources in our daily lives?
IV. Assessment
1. Review on the lesson using the Blooket Learning Fun Game. (Next meeting)
2. Multiple choice on Power Point Presentation (next meeting)
