District Faridabad is in Red Zone on account of pandemic
Covid-19. Numerous measures are being taken up to prevent the spread
of Covid – 19. There is ‘Lock-Down/Curfew’ as declared by the
Government ever since the last week of March 2020. Hon’ble High
Court of Punjab and Haryana from time to time has directed the Courts
to attend only the urgent matters and so the Courts are functioning
restrictively. Situation has not improved so far.
Vide order dated 8.5.2020 issued vide letter No.
18/SPL/RG/Misc. Dated 8.5.2020, Hon’ble Punjab and Haryana High
Court has asked Ld. District and Sessions Judges to deal with urgent
matters as per the circumstances and conditions prevalent in the
concerned Sessions Division. In pursuance of said directions by
Hon’ble High Court, Ld. District & Sessions Judge, Faridabad vide his
office order circulated vide Endst.no.10495-10539/Covid 19 dated
18.5.2020, has directed all courts to adjourn the cases fixed in court
from 21.5.2020 to 31.5.2020 and further directed to deal only with
urgent matter till 31.5.2020.
Therefore, this file has been taken up today and adjourned
to 5.10.2020 for the purpose already fixed. Previous order be now
complied for the date fixed. Intimation about the next date of hearing
be sent to the parties through their respective counsel/s by SMS facility
of the CIS system.
