04.02.2019 NDPS Case No.74/2019 listed before Judge, Special Court (Under N.D.P.S Act)
2nd Court, Jalpaiguri. Accused Manjit Singh was brought under arrest by kotwali
P.S. and produced before the court and he was taken into the custody. This was
case under Sec. 20(b)(ii)(c)/25 of the N.D.P.S. Act. Bail Petition was filed but
rejected at this initial stage of investigation and considering the accusation.

30.08.2019 Received Charge sheet bearing no.- 522/19 dt.- 27.08.2019 u/s 20(b)/25 of the
NDPS Act against the accused persons namely i) Manjit Singh and ii) Shingara
Ram in c/w Kotwali PS Case no.- 74/19 dt.- 03.02.2019. Accused Manjit singh
was in J/C and Shingara Ram was absconding. I.O of this case had prays for issued
W.A. against absconding accused in C.S. Cognizance is taken.
