Travelogue

Objectives: To promote tourist attractions of Barangay Maglinao, Basay, Negros Oriental

Time Allocation: 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Mechanics and Guidelines.
1. Participants must be a bona fide student of Maglinao National High School.
2. Every Grade Level must have two (2) representatives.
3. Computer to be used in the making will be provided by the Competition In-Charge.
4. Participants is encouraged to save photos to be used in their design using a USB (Universal Serial
Bus) and this will be copy pasted to the Tablet-PC before the start of the contest.
5. The participants will lay out their travelogue using Microsoft Office Word 2019 in A4 Size Bond
paper and landscape format.
6. The participants are allowed to search their desired graphics and design using any search engine.
7. The participants are free to use any font style and font size in their travelogue.
8. Participants are NOT ALLOWED to bring any sample layout or draft as guide in their design.
9. After the allocated time the participants are NO LONGER ALLOWED to touch any keys of the
keyboard nor move the mouse.
10. The participants output will be printed by the MNHS School ICT team, and the output will be use
for the judging.
11. Failure to follow the mechanics and guidelines may be grounds for disqualification.
12. The results are final and not subject for appeal.

Criteria
Content (15 %)- Contains appropriate and relevant pictures of Brgy. Maglinao Tourist Spot
Organization (25 %)-The Travelogue has excellent and very well-organized formatting and information.
Creativity (25%)-Excellent arrangements of arts and designs of photos/pictures
Relevance (20%)- The photos/pictures go well with the text information and are related to the tourist
spot/attraction of Brgy. Maglinao, Basay
Grammar and Mechanics (10%)- Language used, spelling, grammar, punctuations and capitalization
