With this activity, you are expected to achieve the following learning
outcomes:

To express through a video, experiences in English using linguistic structures and


vocabulary according to the level, taking exercises and readings from the online
content as a reference.

The activity consists of:

• Read all the directions in this guide and complete every activity directly in the
Discussion Forum - Unit 2 - Task 4 - Oral Production: experience an activity.
• Study the E-book Online content.
• Participate in the Student’s Talking Time (STT)
• Upload a video, share the link (Youtube, Google Drive, Onedrive) of your video
in the forum. Verify it belongs to a public category(no passwords should be
required to open it) Check that your link works perfectly.
• If you consider it is necesary, schedule a practice meeting with your tutor
before recording your video. (Optional)

For the development of the activity consider that:

Step 1 – Student’s talking Time (STT)

Participate in at least two (2) STT (Ver cronograma en el foro de la actividad).

Durante cada STT el tutor encargado tomará un momento donde le indicará la


evidencia que debe poner en su trabajo como asistencia al STT. (Sea una imagen,
respuesta a algunas preguntas, completar un texto de acuerdo a lo realizado, etc).
Por lo tanto, debe estar atento durante todo el taller para cuando el tutor le de esa
instrucción.

Step 2 - The Video – Experience an activity.

Choose 1 topic – Just ONE

Topic 1: Biography.

Having in mind the biographies of the Task 2, choose one of them and then, record a video
telling us in your own voice the selected biography.

Topic: The Biography.

Length of the video: 2 – 5 minutes max.

Video Conditions:
• Introduce yourself at the beginning.
• Record the video in a luminous place and with good sound.
• You have to appear in the video most of the time.
• Use photos to support your speech in the presentation.

Topic 2 - Interesting places in my city.

You are going to imagine you are a travel agent. You are going to record a video
showing at least 2 touristic places in your town or city.
You have to appear in the video all the time and show the places in real time.

You have to say and show:


• Name of the place.
• How can you get there?
• What can you do there?
• What kind of food can you eat or drink there?
• What kind of place is it? (Familiar, Romantic, to go with friends). Why?

Topic: Simple present, There is, there are.

Length of the video: 2 – 5 minutes max.

Video Conditions:

Topic 3 - The Recipe.

Record a video showing a free recipe of more than 4 ingredients, in the video you
have to present the ingredients and the steps of the process.

Topics: Simple present, present progressive, this, that, these, those.

Length of the video: 2 – 5 minutes max.

Video Conditions:
• Introduce yourself at the beginning.
• Record the video in a luminous place and with good sound.
• You have to appear in the video most of the time (depending the topic you
chose).

Optional:
You can practice the pronunciation of your speech with your tutor before recording
the video. By the internal mail every week, your tutor is going to share with you the
day and hour he or she Will be connected in teams to do it.

2. General Guidelines for the Development of Evidences to Submit

For Individual evidences, consider the following:

• Submit the requested product in the environment indicated by the teacher.

• Before submitting the requested product, student should check that it meets all
the requirements mentioned in this activity guide.

• Check you final video carefully.

Please keep in mind that all individual or collaborative written products must comply
with the spelling rules and presentation conditions defined in this activity guide.
Regarding the use of references, consider that the product of this activity must
comply with APA style.
In any case, make sure you comply with the rules and avoid academic plagiarism.
You can review your written products using the Turnitin tool found in the virtual
campus.
