1º ESO MUSIC
Music therapy on the environment.
We will invent music therapy ac6vi6es to prac6ce on the environment.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION
We will play di8erent physical ac6vi6es on the environment, such as Ul6mate
or baseball.
Final product: We will take photos of the games.

2º ESO MUSIC Make a

PHYSICS & CHEMISTRY

We will work in class with the help of the language assistant di8erent
presenta6ons where
global warming, the greenhouse e8ect, acid rain, the hole in the ozone layer
and air pollu6on
will be explained. In these presenta6ons, students will learn vocabulary related
to the topic and
will learn about the nega6ve consequences of the chemical industry as well as
possible solu6ons
to these problems.
We will also work with the worksheet: CHEMICAL REACTIONS AND THEIR
EFFECTS ON THE
ENVIRONMENT and with the worksheet: CLOZE TEXT: CHEMISTRY AND THE
ENVIRONMENT
This material will support the project, which will consist of the crea6on of
di8erent posters.

FINAL PRODUCT:
CreaBons of several posters that will be exhibited on the walls in the corridor.
3º ESO BIOLOGY & GEOLOGY

“LITTER… HOW DOES IT MATTER?”

Classroom session: 30 minutes for background introduc6on on li:er, screen a


short 6lm on the impacts of li:ering and discuss with the students the problems
associated with li:ering.

Outdoor session: 30 minutes for dividing students into groups of 4-5 members
and for picking up li:er from the high-school (green areas, school yard…)

We try to change a?tudes and behavior regarding li:ering through this ac6vity.
It is our belief that if you pick up li:er, you start discovering the impact that
even the smallest piece of li:er has.

Resources required:

● a short 6lm on the impact of li:ering.


● garbage bags and gloves.

Final product: Photos of the sessions

Students will show the photos taken in the outdoor session to other classrooms
and comment on them in order to raise awareness about the importance of
picking up rubbish, classify waste and care the environment.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION:

Sustainable transport day (5 June) promo6ng the use of bicycles to come to


school that day or other sustainable transport.

Final products: Produc6on of posters promoBng the use of sustainable


transport: its physical and environmental bene6ts AND the sustainable
transport journal on 5th June

PHYSICS & CHEMISTRY

We are going to elaborate a digital presenta6on that explains in a visual and


auditory way the opera6on and the advantages and disadvantages of a power
plant from the environmental point of view.
Final product:
