DRESS CODE POLICY
OBJECTIVE
Xcellance Medical Technologies Pvt. Ltd. strongly believes that business should be conducted in
a professional manner in which personal appearance and conduct is very important. A dress
code reflects the culture of a company and hence, it is imperative that we follow appropriate
etiquettes which reflects an environment that is efficient, orderly and professional.
EFFECTIVE
Dress Code Policy will be effective from 01st April 2024
APPLICABILITY
This policy is applicable to all employees of Shalya:
Category Departments
Non Production HR, Admin, Accounts, Purchase, Sales ROI, Sales North, Tender,
International Sales, Marketing, Design Electronics, Design Mechanical,
QARA, Design Software,
Production Production – Electronics, Mechanical, MDD, OT Light, Pendant, Stores, QC,
Service, Housekeeping and BMS.
OPERATIVE GUIDELINES
Formal dress code will be applicable to all Non - Production Category Staff and
Management and All Managers and Supervisors under Production Category.
Employees at the Client site are expected to adhere to a formal dress wear
Employees are responsible for their respective appearance/dress choice to present a well-
groomed personality.
Employees must adhere to personal hygiene and grooming.
Employees must avoid any visible body tattoos.
Employees should wear Formals from Monday to Friday of the Week.
Employees can wear Business Casuals on Saturdays/Weekly Off/Paid Holiday
Traditional Wear during specific events duly as communicated by the HR Department.

Dress Allotment for Non-Production Staff (Excluding Managers & Supervisors):
All non-production staff will be issued set of 2 dresses & 1 pair of Shoes during the start
of the Calendar year.
Employees separated on account of resignation, retirement or any disciplinary issue
should be handed over to the Department Head as a part of the Exit Formalities.
The said pair of dress/shoes can be used by the new joinee employed in respective
departments/function.
The 50% of the cost of the dress will be borne by the employer and remaining 50% of the
cost will be borne by the employee, whereas 100% of the cost of shoes will be borne by
the Company.
The process of taking the counts for issuing of new dresses and shoes should start in the
month of November of every year so that the dress can be made available to all in the
month of January. HR department will provide the count of requirement to the Purchase
Manager.
The vendor selection, negotiations and commercials will be approved by the Purchase
manager in-coordination with the General Manager and Director
In case, by any reason if there is any concern related to fitting, the same need to be
replaced within 2 days. The vendor will replace the faulty one with new one.
During the mid of the year, if the dresses are torned out, it will be responsibility of the
respective employee to get it repaired for use. There should be no reasons to excuse of
not wearing the dress.

NON-COMPLIANCE AND CONSEQUENCES
If an employee is found violating this policy, then he/she will be asked to change the
attire.
Repeated policy violations will result in disciplinary action.
REVISION OF THE POLICY
The company reserves the right to revise, modify any or all clauses of this policy depending
upon the demand of business.
