Training and Projects:

Designed and implemented a 32 bit RISC architecture processor in Verilog HDL as a part of Computer Organization and Architecture course. The instruction set had 20 instructions. The work involved deciding Opcode for each instruction and then designing the control unit and data path and then implementing the design in Verilog HDL as well as writing test cases for its various components. The project was done in Xilinx ISE. Designed and implemented a compiler using Flex and Bison for a toy language as a part of Compiler course. The work involved first implementing a scanner and a recursive descent parser for the given language. And then using Flex tool and Bison for developing a complete compiler for the given language which converted the code to assembly code compatible with x86 architecture. Developed working ERP software for an institute in Java in Netbeans IDE as a partial fulfilment of requirements of Software Engineering course.

Made the SRS document and a prototype for CCC (Courier Company Computerization) software using MagicDraw UML as a partial fulfilment of requirements of Software Engineering course. Did 1 month summer training at BSNL Bilaspur branch on Broadband technology. Developed a plug-in/add-on for Google chrome using Google extension API which calculated the daily time spent on Facebook by a user.

Extra Academic Activities:

Represented Azad Hall of Residence in Inter Hall Athletics meet and in Inter Hall sports championship in pole vault and long race events. Member of Azad Hall of Residence Fine Arts team. Represented Azad Hall of Residence in Inter Hall Thermocol and Clay modelling and won Silver. Have won various prizes at school level in sketching competitions.

Achievements and Awards:

Represented Chhattisgarh State in National Children Science Congress (NCSC) -2004 held at Guwahati and represented my project work on Rain water harvesting. Secured the 1029th position in IIT JEE-09 in which more than 400000 students appeared. Got Mahatma Hansraj Merit Award for securing 90% and above marks in senior secondary CBSE Board 2006-07. Was meritorious in annual State Level Vigyan Paheli competition conducted by State Council of Educational Research and Training, Chhattisgarh.

Miscellaneous:
I have interest in pursuing research in the field of video and Image processing, Embedded Systems, Computer Networks. My interests also include software development, coding, designing and implementing algorithms, doing 2-D animation and sketching. I like reading short stories. Playing Cricket and being an athlete have instilled in me perseverance and passion for challenges. Besides this I also actively participate in online programming contests.
