Job title Engineer
Department Technical Sales – Pune Office
Responsible to HOD-Sales and Section Head located at Pune.
Main purpose of job Technical Sales of compressors / compressor packages for achieving the
financial goals, business development, technical enhancement for the
allocated region of India for BKI. Support team members with Technical
selection of Compressors, Dryers and allied accessories to prepare techno
commercial proposal.
Key responsibilities Product Knowledge: Gain in-depth knowledge about the compressors,
dryers, and allied accessories that BKI offers. Understand their features,
benefits, and applications.
Technical Selection: Be proficient in selecting the right compressor or
accessory based on customer requirements, including capacity,
efficiency, and operational environment.
Market Analysis: Research and understand the compressor market in
India, including key industries, market size, growth trends, and
competitive landscape.
Customer Needs: Identify the specific needs of different sectors
Understand their pain points and requirements.
Sales Support: Assist in preparing and delivering technical sales
presentations and proposals.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with
clients, addressing their technical queries and providing ongoing support.
Sales Reporting: Track sales activities and performance metrics,
providing regular updates and reports to the sales management team.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and other cross
functional departments to ensure a seamless sales process and
customer satisfaction.
Learning and Development: Participate in training sessions and
workshops to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering specialized in the field of
Qualifications &
Mechanical.
Requirements
Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to
understand and convey technical information effectively.
Technical Aptitude: Interest in learning about technical products and
solutions. Fair understanding of engineering concepts is required.
Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze customer needs and propose suitable
solutions.
Team Player: Willingness to work collaboratively with team members and
other departments.
