JOB PURPOSE:

The Area Sales Manager leads and manages the sales engineering team to drive

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Key Area Tasks

- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team.


- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive

- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets
and business objectives.
Sales Strategy - Identify new market opportunities and develop business plans to capture
them.
- Monitor market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Maintain and develop relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Customer - Oversee customer interactions and ensure high levels of customer
Relations satisfaction.
- Resolve complex customer issues and provide technical support.
Project - Oversee the execution of sales projects from inception to completion.
Management - Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of
solutions.

- Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
- Manage the customer payments and develop strategies to mitigate risks
associated with non-payments
- Provide technical expertise and support to the engineering team.
Technical Expertise - Ensure the team is up-to-date with the latest technological advancements
and industry best practices.
- Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations for customers.
- Ensure sales operations are executed in accordance with company policies
and procedures.
Sales Operations - Evaluate and mitigate risks during the sales process.
- Manage the sales pipeline and provide regular reports to senior
management.
- Collaborate with other departments such as operations, and production to

- Provide market feedback to the engineering team.

OPERATING ENVIRONMENT:

Environment Details
Office/Field Work is performed in both office and field environments.
Working Hours 8.00 am to 5.00 pm
Work Week Sunday to Thursday

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Qualification Details

Education Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

- More than seven (7) years in technical sales roles.


Functional Requirement - Proven experience in leading and managing a sales engineering team.
- Demonstrated knowledge of sales principles and practices.
- Experienced in developing and implementing sales strategies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
Behavioral Requirement - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- English (Mandatory)
Language Skills - Urdu/Hindi (Preferable)
- Arabic (Mandatory)
