Acknowledgement
“Student mark sheet program in C” has been developed successfully with a great
contribution of two students in a period of two months. We like to appreciate
their guidance, encouragement and willingness since without their support the
project would not have been a success. We would like to give our heartfelt
gratitude to Principal Dr. N.D. Misal, & HOD Gaikwad S.S Guide Mr
[Link] , who is the supervisor of our project for helping and encouraging us
in many ways to make our project a success. We would never been able to finish
our work without great support and enthusiasm from friends and support from
our family. We would like to thank the department of Computer Engineering ,
for giving us permission to initiate this project and successfully finishit.
1.0 Aims/Benefits of the micro project
In today’s world, most consumer appliances are based on electronic
circuits and devices The foundation for working a computer or any of its
peripherals is based on electronics. This course has been designed to
develop skills to understand and test simple electronic components and
circuits. After studying this course students will develop an insight to
identify, build and troubleshoot simple electronic circuits.
2.0 Course outcome addressed.
Interpret the working of junction transistors in the electronic circuits.
3.0 Proposed methodology
In this project, we know about FETs and its symbol, advantages, and
applications.

1.0 Brief Description:-
The FET(Field Effect Transistor) is a 3-terminal electronic tool used to command the float of
current via way of means of the voltage carried out to its gate terminal. The 3 terminals on this
tool are named drain, source, and [Link] also are called unipolar transistors instead of BJTs
which can be bipolar transistors. In FETs, both holes or electrons are used for the conduction
procedure. But conduction procedure doesn’t contain each rate carrier at an equal time. FET
transistors typically include excessive enter impedance at low frequencies and show immediate
operation, excessive operation, are sturdy and cheap, and are used in lots of electric circuits.
The low electricity intake and low electricity dissipation make this tool a perfect suit for
integrated circuits.
FETs Diagram:
A FET has 4 terminals named Source, Drain, Gate, and Body. Source: Source is the
terminal via which the bulk fee carriers are entered withinside the FET.
Drain: Drain is the terminal via which the bulk charge carriers go out from the FET.
Gate: The gate terminal is shaped via way of means of diffusion of an N-type semiconductor
with a P-type semiconductor. This creates a closely doped PN junction area that controls the
waft of the carrier from supply to drain.
Body: This is the substrate on which the FET is built. In discrete applications, it is internally tied
to the source pin permitting its outcomes to be neglected entirely. However, in included circuits,
this pin might be normally related to the maximum bad power delivered in an NMOS
circuit(maximum positive in a PMOS circuit) due to the fact many transistors will proportion it.
Careful connections and layout are crucial to preserving FET overall performance while the
Body connection is involved.
