Magnus Hall and two Grade 9 students will be discussing their December visit to Senegal this F riday, 27 January, from 8:30 t o 10:00 am at Guldheden Campus Small Bamba.
All parents are welcome to attend!

To Mothe rs of Students in Grade 7 (MYP 7D and 7E): We would like to collect more! We encourage everyone (parents, students, staff, and friends) to submit recipes! If you know of any good cooks in the ISGR community that will need assistance translating their recipes to English, please let us know and we will try to help. For more details, please take a look at the poster on the ISGR International Cookbook attached to this newsletter. (Note: Please submit recipes electronically using the recipe template, which is a separate Microsoft Word file. Contact Julie Romanski (julie.romanski@yahoo.com or 0738 566 700) if you need a copy of the recipe template. If you have problems using the Microsoft Word recipe template, please let Julie know and alternate arrangements can be made.) We can still use volunteers to help out with this special project! Frlunda Hockey Club

Frlunda Indians encourage and invite more children to join them in ice hockey. This is a good way to get to know Swedish people who are really open-minded to other languages and cultures. ISGR school board members (Carola and Kristina) will also be present at the meeting to answer questions from parents. All parents are welcome to attend.

ISGR International Cookbook 2012

This will be a collection of recipes and tips from the teachers, parents and students of ISGR - a school fundraiser being co-ordinated by the PTA for Spring 2012.

Recipes can be:

Traditional recipes from your home country Family favourites Family recipes from your mother/grandmother Recipes from your international travels Your childrens favourite meals Meals that are quick and easy to prepare Everyday meals or Special Occasion meals ANYTHING and EVERYTHING all ideas welcome

If you want to continue playing hockey in Frlunda, the cost is 300 SEK (membership) for a season of our hockey school.)
