I trembled in my seat as the music started, but when Cedric bumped into the invisible wall and my drum stick hit the cymbal for the first time, an incredible feeling of funand peace came over me!

I discovered that it didnt matter if I had a great voice or not, or if I could play drums or not...
...because Jesus didnt need those things to use me. If He did, I wouldnt have been up
on that stage. Perhaps Madonna would have been, or the drummer from Muse, or any other number of talented musicians. But they werent. And Jesus used me in spite of my lacks to reach those people that day. He used me to sing Prince of Peace. He used me to share His love with those kids. And as a result, I did something I was proud of that day!

As far as Im concerned, Madonna can keep her voice and the drummer from Muse can keep his sense of rhythm. I dont need them. Ive got my little drum kit, and my little squeak of a voice, and my stage fright, and my shaking knees
